Nick Edwards is a Principal and the owner of River Oaks Resources. He specializes in manufacturing consulting with primary emphasis on Just-In-Time, Lean Manufacturing, Total Quality Management and Manufacturing Control Systems, including overall Business Planning, MRP II and ERP, and Distribution Systems. As a management consultant for over 30 years, Mr. Edwards has provided professional services for clients in electronics, semiconductor, automotive, medical products, appliance, machine tool, aerospace, metalworking, printing, molding, plastics, woodworking, and service industries. Mr. Edwards was active in promoting productivity with his seminars at the Universities of Wisconsin and California and in Birmingham, England, at the Aston Management Center. He is also an active participant of the Association for Manufacturing Excellence, an organization dedicated to enhancing excellence in manufacturing through Lean Manufacturing and Just-In-Time principles, Total Quality Management, and Employee Involvement. Other activities include lecturing and speaking at the American Production and Inventory Control Societies. He is a founding member of the Association for Manufacturing Excellence. In addition, he is a retired member of the Institute for Management Consultants, APICS, and the American Society for Quality.
